Don’t go to workshops!

Two weeks ago (time flies!) I spent my Saturday with other artists from Polish Digital Art at painting workshops in Warsaw. We were painting models dressed in different historical clothes. What was really unique for that event – we were using digital media.

To tell you the truth, it was the first time when I was participating in such event and I was little nervous. You know, everybody is watching behind your back, learning from you and you’re like “Don’t screw it!” 😉 In the end, as I just sat down there and started doing my stuff everything went away. I focused on drawing the right proportions, finding shapes, balance elements, merging all important things that have to be done right in a study. It’s quite complex process but really relaxing thing in the same time. Also, that’s very different from studying from photos and I think that anyone who wants to do art professionaly should try it. It helps with building visual library very well.

My studies from short sessions

After four sessions with breaks and whole day spent in hot building (yay, summer!) we magically ended up… on the beach. Our tough artistic life sent us to drink beer and dance. 😉 Going out from artistic cave to meet other people that do the same thing, talk about more or less important stuff is amazing. I’m glad that I can be part of the art community. We have some great gals and guys out there.

Here you can find some people that I met. Check them out! 😉
